SUMMARY:Moonology & Magick
DESCRIPTION:\n\nPart of the Witches Series of Classes\nPresented by The Oshawa School of Witchcraft at The Zen Shop\nWorking With Lunar Energy in Witchcraft\n\nThe Moon has guided witches, mystics and magical practitioners for generations. Its ever-changing cycle offers a natural rhythm for spellwork, intention, release, divination and transformation—but working with lunar energy goes much deeper than simply making wishes beneath a Full Moon.\nJoin Rev. Karyn Williams and the Oshawa School of Witchcraft at The Zen Shop for an exploration of Moonology & Magick and discover how the phases of the Moon can become a powerful part of your personal witchcraft practice.\nIn this class, we’ll journey through the lunar cycle—from the darkness of the New Moon, through the Waxing and Full Moon, and into the Waning and Dark Moon—and explore how the energy shifts throughout each phase.\nYou’ll learn how different lunar phases can be incorporated into spellwork and ritual; when to focus on attraction, growth and manifestation; when to work with release, banishing and protection; and how to choose lunar timing that supports the intention behind your magick.\nWe’ll also explore the Moon’s deeper place within witchcraft, including lunar correspondences, intuition and psychic work, cleansing and charging, Moon Water, altar practices, and simple ways to begin developing your own relationship with lunar energy.\nRather than memorizing a list of “rules,” Rev. Karyn will help you understand why witches work with the Moon the way they do—giving you the foundation to make informed choices and develop a practice that feels authentic to you.\nWhether you are just beginning to explore witchcraft or have been practicing for years, this class offers a deeper understanding of one of the oldest and most accessible sources of natural magick.\nCome learn the Moon—not simply as something beautiful in the night sky, but as a rhythm, a teacher and a powerful ally in your craft.\nThe Witches Series of Classes at The Oshawa School of Witchcraft are a structured curriculum designed to guide students through the many layers of the craft—from foundational knowledge to more advanced magical practice. Each class builds upon the last, allowing students to deepen their understanding while developing confidence in their magical path.\nFounded in 2018, The Oshawa School of Witchcraft was created to provide authentic, respectful education for those seeking to understand and practice the craft in a meaningful way. Many students return year after year to deepen their knowledge through workshops, rituals, and advanced magical study offered through The Zen Shop.\nRev. Karyn Williams brings decades of experience to her teachings as a third-generation witch and initiated High Priestess. She has practiced both as a solitary practitioner and within covens, offering students a balanced perspective that blends traditional wisdom with modern understanding.\nThroughout her career, Rev. Karyn has shared her knowledge through a variety of platforms. She has taught courses at the Learning Annex, spoken at local metaphysical events, and hosted an internet radio program dedicated to the craft and spiritual exploration. As an ordained Minister with the Metaphysical Church of Canada, she brings both spiritual depth and practical experience to her teachings.\nThe Zen Shop has become a gathering place for those seeking authentic witchcraft education, ritual practice, and spiritual community throughout Durham Region\n\n\nHandouts are included.\nSpaces are limited, and these sacred classes fill quickly.Advanced registration is required. First come, first served\n\n \n\n\n\n\n
