Beltane Fire & Flowers Festival
Beltane, a significant Pagan Sabbat, marks the midpoint between spring and summer, holding a pivotal place on the Wheel of the Year. Positioned opposite Samhain, it represents a time when the veil between the physical and spiritual realms is exceptionally thin, fostering heightened opportunities for communication with the spirit world. Unlike its somber counterpart, Samhain, Beltane pulsates with the vibrant energies of fire, fertility, and renewal.
During Beltane, which often extends throughout the month, bonfires blaze to commemorate the triumphant return of the Sun, the earth’s warming embrace, and the emergence of new life. These fires symbolize the passion and vitality of the season, igniting a sense of celebration and rejuvenation within those who gather to honor its spirit.
Embrace the magic of Beltane with us on May 1st at 7 pm during our FREE Beltane Fire & Flowers Festival! Led by High Priestess Karyn Williams, our ceremony will commence with the casting and blessing of the sacred circle. Following this, we’ll embark on a journey guided by Beltane prayers, meditations, and rituals, embracing the symbolism of the May Day pole and the ancient Celtic fire. Join us as we revel in the joyous energy of Beltane, celebrating the abundance of life and the promise of renewal.
