Cynthia Calder is a self taught wire work and bead artisan. Since an early age she has sought out different mediums and techniques through which to express her creativity. After leaving a corporate position in 2016 she dove head first into learning wire wrapping jewellery techniques, creating beaded ornaments and crafting pendants using glass and polymer clay. All of the materials used in her instructional classes as well as in her custom work are are of the highest quality. Swarovski crystals, semi pressious stones, glass beads and resin beads are the materials used most often. Wire components are made with ParaWire which is both lead and nickel free. ParaWire has the most durable coating on the market and will withstand plenty of general wear and manipulation. Cynthia Calder looks forward to teaching these techniques to those who enjoy creating something beautiful with their own hands.
