Day of the Dead Seance

Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that has become a popular spiritual celebration worldwide.  Catholics call it All Souls Day.  It is a time when family and friends gather to pray for and give remembrance to loved ones who have passed and support their spiritual journey.  It is not a day of sadness as we realize death is part of the natural part of the human cycle.  Our loved ones awaken and celebrate with us.

Join us on November 1st at 8pm for a special Day of the Dead ceremony and seance.  We will honour those who have passed before us and attempt connection.  We call up Santa Muerte (Spanish for Our lady of the Holy Death).  Santa Muerta is a female skeletal deity; a personification of death, associated with healing, protection and safe delivery to the afterlife.

This is an amazing and most appropriate time to attempt connection with the departed as the Veil is still very thin.  The connection between the living and the dead is believed to be stronger, and there is a chance to communicate. Souls of the deceased are thought to return home. Please feel free to bring a picture of your loved one or anything you feel attached to to place on our altar.
