Friday the 13th Full Moon Wiccan Ritual
Why do people fear Friday the 13th? Many scholars believe that the phobia associated with Friday dates back to Christianity and other religions. Jesus was crucified on a Friday. Eve tempted Adam with the forbidden fruit on a Friday. The 13th guest at the Last Supper, Judas, betrayed Jesus. Abel was slain by Cain on Friday the 13th.
Why do Pagans believe a full moon falling on Friday the 13th is so special? For Pagans, Friday the 13th is not unlucky at all! The name Friday derives from the Goddess Freya. She is the Goddess of love and fertility. She is always accompanied by two black cats. Wiccans believe Friday is the best day for love and abundance spells. The number 13 has always been a powerful number for Pagans as well. We have 13 moons in the lunar cycle. Women menstruate 13 times a year for a complete yearly cycle. The number 13 has always been associated with the Goddess. The energy of Friday the 13th and the Full Moon gives the day and night, an amplified opportunity for magickal workings!
Join Wiccan High Priestess for a creation and manifestation circle with a special goddess initiation, moving into the year 2020. This is the last Friday the 13th of the decade! Don’t miss it! Our Wiccan rituals are an open circle to all. This is an excellent opportunity to catch a glimpse of a genuine Coven meeting, without the commitment.
