Reiki 1st Degree Certification

Learn to be a Certified First Degree Reiki Practitioner.  Reiki (ray-key) is a Japanese form of energy healing, which is a subset of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.  If our Life Force Energy is low or blocked, it impacts our wellbeing and personal health. Reiki is an energy that works on the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual level. The technique increases one’s Life Force Energy that brings the body back into balance promoting a healthier life.

Sheila will also be teaching “Intuitive Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki” which can be translated “The Usui System of Natural Healing”.  It will assist you to open up to your intuitive gifts while performing Reiki.

The 1st degree is a permanent attunement to the Reiki Ray. Once initiated, it allows a person to channel Reiki energy for healing oneself and others. It requires no special invocation or alteration of the thinking process to turn on the flow of Reiki. During this training you will learn the self-treatment hand positions and the hand positions to treat others. By simply placing hands on and opening the heart to love, one automatically brings in the energy. The first degree is the foundation of all three degrees and must first be mastered before the person is considered for the next degree.

Please bring a pillow & blanket/yoga mat to sit on and notebook & pen.  Manual is provided.  Wear comfortable clothing.  You are welcome to bring a lunch as this is an all day class.
