Spirit Board Workshop & Samhain Ritual

Spirit Board Workshop & Samhain Ritual

An Evening of Mystery, Learning & Connection Beyond the Veil

Since their emergence in the late 19th century, Spirit Boards, also known as Ouija Boards, have fascinated and mystified generations. Once marketed as intriguing tools for communicating with the spirit world, these mysterious boards have since become the subject of countless myths, superstitions, and Hollywood horror stories.

But are Spirit Boards truly something to fear, or has their reputation been shaped by sensationalized tales and misconceptions?

Join us at The Zen Shop for a fascinating and immersive evening with High Priestess Rev. Karyn Williams, an experienced Occult specialist, as we explore the history, mysteries, and spiritual practices surrounding these intriguing tools of divination.

The evening begins with an informative, interactive workshop, where Rev. Karyn will guide participants through the history of Spirit Boards, dispel common myths, and introduce the proper techniques and etiquette for their use. You’ll learn the importance of intention, respect, grounding, and spiritual protection, along with appropriate ways to approach communication through the board.

Once participants have gained a better understanding of these practices, we’ll move into the evening’s Samhain Spirit Board Ritual.

Samhain is traditionally considered a time when the veil between the living and spirit worlds is at its thinnest, making it a particularly meaningful season for honouring ancestors and remembering those who have passed.

Under Rev. Karyn’s guidance, participants will pair up and take part in a sacred, carefully guided ritual focused on ancestral communication and connecting with departed loved ones.

The ritual will begin with grounding, protection, and calling practices before participants are invited to work with the Spirit Boards, asking personal and meaningful questions in a respectful, supportive setting.

With the collective energy of the group, the evening will take on the atmosphere of an intimate séance, blending ancient spiritual traditions with the mystery of Spirit Board communication.

Whether you’re a curious beginner, an experienced practitioner, a skeptic, or a believer, this unique experience offers an opportunity to explore the mysteries of the Spirit Board in a thoughtful and respectful environment.

More than just a workshop, our Spirit Board Workshop & Samhain Ritual is an evening of discovery, remembrance, and connection beyond the veil.

All Spirit Boards will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own board if they prefer.
