Brigid, the beloved Celtic Goddess of poetry, healing and making is called on to protect the home and those that dwell within. So intrinsically enmeshed into the Irish culture, she was Christianized into St. Brigid during the early days of the new faith in that land.
Her celebration is February 1st, when She is honoured and Her gifts celebrated with candles, poetry, feasting and song.
Brigid’s Blessing 7 day candle in a beautiful blue evokes Her traditionally coloured robe, and is filled with an oil blend formulated to honour her. Handmade in Canada, topped with herbs and stones to resonate with Her energy, as well as a Brigid cross or tree of life pendant!
