Description
The triple moon symbol is a powerful goddess symbol, often used for goddesses who have triple aspects, especially lunar goddesses. It represents the waxing, full, and waning moon, as is the embodiment of the triple aspect of all of us. The Goddess also takes a three-fold form, known as the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, aligned with the phases of the moon’s cycle. This represents the three stages of a woman’s life in terms of physical reproduction; before, during, and after the body’s ability to have a child.
The Maiden represents enchantment, inception, growth, the promise of new beginnings, birth, youth and youthful enthusiasm, represented by the waxing moon.
