Odin is known as the All Father, the leader of the Norse Gods. He governs War, Death, Poetry, the Arts and Wisdom.
He is depicted here seated in his throne (Hlidskjalf) with his magical spear is named Gungnir. He is also joined by his two wolves, Geri and Freki.
